Panel discussion and launch of the World Report on Violence against Children, Geneva

(JPEG) On 20 November, the World Report on Violence against Children was launched in Geneva on the occasion of Universal Children’s Day and the 15th anniversary of the Committee on the Rights of the Child. Prior to the presentation of the World Report, a panel discussion took place which focused on the follow-up to the Study. The event was organized by WHO, UNICEF, OHCHR and the Independent Expert for the UN Study on Violence Against Children. The World Report on Violence against Children is the more detailed publication which accompanies the official report of the Independent Expert to the General Assembly that was presented in New York on 11 October.
