IAG NY 2006 (GIF) A number of UN agencies and partner organisations are heavily involved in the process to prepare the United Nations Secretary-General’s Study on Violence Against Children according to their mandate and capacity. OHCHR, UNICEF and WHO are the key supporting partners of the Study, but also organisations such as ILO, UNESCO, UNHCR, UNODC, the NGO Advisory Panel, Save the Children and other partners have made significant contributions. An Inter-Agency Group on Violence Against Children (IAG) has been established to coordinate aspects of the launch and the follow-up to the Study. These meetings provide a good opportunity to identify opportunities for follow-up, to exchange ideas on how to reinforce the process at country level, and also at regional and international level to ensure positive change for children. In this section of the Study web-site you will be able to find more information on the meetings of the Inter-Agency Group.
