The book looks at the system to education for children in unfortunate circumstances, namely Street Children and Child Laborers. It examines various aspects of the issue, such as national and international roles for rehabilitation and education, demographical statistics, school curricula, the successes and failures that have been encountered thus far, and recommendations for rehabilitation and improvement of formal and informal education for under-privileged children in India.
