The report looks at the impact of aggression on children. Aggressive children tend to experience problems with hyperactivity/inattention and to come from homes with ineffective parenting. It looks particularly at the case of girl aggressors, noting that their exists limited understanding of girls’ aggression. More research is required to identify the developmental pathways of aggressive girls and effective intervention strategies to promote healthy development.
